Rocket Jam is a promotion company owned and run by Phil Platt who also hosts and performs at the events, Phl has been in the music industry for many years both as a performer and engineer/producer for many top acts since the early eighties inc: Richard Derbyshire,(Livin In A Box) Paul Young (Sad Cafe - Mike & The Mechanics, Saxon (Dogs of War album) Phil has also been assistant to the legendary Andy Mac producer & Engineer of Revolution Studios helping with transfers of old analogue tapes of The Who for CD re mixes of 'Tommy' & 'Live at Leeds'

Our Aim

The idea of Rocket Jam is not just to provide a professional showcase for venues but also to do the same for the bands and artistes who we work with, Rocket Jam the venue and the artistes all work together to promote the evening to ensure a successful event, Rocket Jam supplies high quality PA and lighting to further enhance the show and all our prices include design and supply of 4X colour posters for the venue and the poster is also displayed on our web sites and remains there even after the event on our 'Gallery pages'

About Costing Your Event

The price of our services are less than you may think, however the answer to "How much does it all cost" is a bit like asking how long is a piece of string is! the reason is that price depends on a number of factors including distance from our Manchester base, whether accommodation will be needed and if so are you residential? how many main acts do you require and on what day is your event going to be held on, all this and more can be submitted on the quotation form located at the top of this page enabling us to give you more than a good idea of the actual cost, please spend a few minutes filling in the form with as much info as possible and we will get back to you with a great quote ASAP, more often than not it's not a lot more than booking a single act for the evening.

The Smart F festival 12th Aug 2011

The Smart Festival has been the biggest event so far in Rocket Jams short history and so far has attracted interest from press local radio, it has received funding and help from the Sale Community Panel, Sale Moor Community Partnership & the Sale Moor Events Group.

The event is to be held at Jackson's Boat, Rifle Road, Sale Water Park, with music, art and entertainment throughout the afternoon and an evening show devoted entirely to music until midnight it's already looking like this will become an annual event, more info:
